(New York, NY) Former 16-year NFL veteran and All-Pro linebacker London Fletcher and nine-year NFL veteran Fred Smoot have been named studio analysts for CBS Sports Network’s “That Other Pregame Show”, along with former Women’s Professional Football quarterback Anita Marks. They join returning panelists Adam Schein, Amy Trask and Brandon Tierney to form CBS Sports Network’s new Sunday pregame show team.
“TOPS” kicks off its second season on Sunday, Sept. 7 and airs on Sundays throughout the NFL season from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, ET.
Other regular contributors to “That Other Pregame Show” are analysts from “The NFL Today” including Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Tony Gonzalez and Bart Scott, as well as Insider Jason La Canfora. NFL on CBS announcers Phil Simms, Dan Fouts, Trent Green, Rich Gannon, Solomon Wilcots, Steve Tasker, Steve Beuerlein, Adam Archuleta and Chris Simms will appear regularly from their game sites.
Fletcher joins CBS Sports Network after a 16-year NFL playing career with the Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Rams. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012) and helped the Rams win Super Bowl XXXIV.
Smoot spent nine seasons in the NFL with the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings and was an All-American and two-time All-SEC selection at Mississippi State.
Marks is a radio veteran who can currently be heard on NBC Sports Radio and also contributes to the New York Giants broadcast team and Bleacher Report. She has previously appeared on WFAN radio in New York as well as SiriusXM. In addition to her broadcasting duties, Marks also played four years of women’s professional football as quarterback for the Miami Fury and Florida Stingrays.
(Sarasota, FL) WENG radio (1530 AM/107.5 FM) in Englewood, FL is slated to air three different coaches shows in addition to its coverage of Lemon Bay Manta Rays football this fall. Rich “Spitz” Spedaliere, longtime voice of the Manta Rays, will host shows featuring the head football coaches of Lemon Bay, North Port and Venice.
Monday nights: “The Coach DJ Ogilvie Show” live from Norma Jeans in North Englewood from 6-7 p.m.
Tuesday nights: “The North Port Coach’s Show” with Coach Larry Detwiler live from Cluck U Chicken in North Port from 6-7 p.m.
Thursday nights: “Talking Venice Football” with Coach John Peacock live from the Daiquiri Deck from 6-7 p.m.
WENG radio will broadcast all of Lemon Bay’s football games live with the “Countdown to Kickoff Show” beginning 30 minutes before each contest. All home games kick at 7 p.m. and all road games kick at 7:30 p.m.
WENG will also carry all North Port football games this season. Most will be on tape delay played back on Saturdays at Noon except for the game on September 12, which will be broadcast live at 7:15 p.m. and the contest on October 2nd which is on Thursday night.
Doug Miles and Ed Schneider to call Tampa Bay High School Game of the Week
(Sarasota, FL) Milestone Productions will produce online broadcasts of a Tampa Bay High School Football Game of the Week series for the 2014 season beginning Friday August 22nd with a Kickoff Classic game featuring the North Port Bobcats vs. Booker Tornadoes from Sarasota, FL at 7:30 p.m. Games will be broadcast live on Friday nights via Ustream.tv and podcasts will be posted at www.dougmilesmedia.com.
Doug Miles will handle the play-by-play duties and Ed Schneider will be the color analyst. This is the second season Miles and Schneider will call a “game of the week” series in Tampa Bay. Doug Miles has also called games for Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton Prep, Sarasota, Booker and Venice High Schools and is the play-by-play announcer for the Sarasota Millionaires Football team in the Florida Football Alliance. Schneider has been color analyst on Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Millionaires broadcasts in addition to the Game of the Week series.

(New York, N.Y.) CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, will expand its live weekday studio programming with the addition of “The Doug Gottlieb Show.” The afternoon show broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Radio will be simulcast on CBS Sports Network beginning Monday, August 25. The three-hour program is hosted by Doug Gottlieb live Monday-Friday from 3:00-6:00 PM, ET.
“The Doug Gottlieb Show” debuted on January 2, 2013, and features national sports talk, headlines, and interviews with current and former sports icons, as well as newsmakers from the sports world and listener phone calls. The CBS Sports Network show will originate from the CBS Sports Radio studios in New York City.
