Remembering former NY TV News Anchor Michele Marsh

Michele Marsh, who anchored the news in New York City at WCBS Channel 2 and later WNBC Channel 4, passed away Wednesday at age 63 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was one of the brightest stars in the news business for many years after landing a job in the #1 media market at WCBS in 1979 at age 25. She hadn’t been on television news since 2003. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and husband.
Below is a video of one of her newscasts on WCBS-TV Channel 2 from August 9, 1993.
